1998 boxter radio locked after battery disconnect

98 boxter .......car from body shop  with battery disconnected/ dead ...

     can  our scan tool  retrieve the code to unlock the radio ?..if so what's the  procedure  once the code is retrieved?.thanks paul

Found this info searching the web.  No idea if it works or not.  Highly doubtful that the Launch will be able to reset/find code for the radio.

thanks ..i  found the same info online before i posted in the forum......alldata has   a procedure for  retrieving  radio code via dme/pcm...so i'm really confused now ...if  the body shop has me look at the car i'll post the results .....thanks paul

the body shop performed a diy reset per instruction they found  on google ..thanks paul
